Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta has revealed that negotiations over a new contract with striker Lautaro Martinez have hit a snag. But I believe that everything will go well.

The Argentine striker is under contract until 2026 and the two sides are in talks over a new deal. The player’s agent confirmed ยูฟ่าเบท that Lautaro is very happy and wants to stay with the team.

But Marotta revealed that negotiations were slightly stuck over the salary figure. But it is believed that in the end it will go well as the 26-year-old star has made it clear that he does not plan on moving teams.

The Gialloblu have already secured survival, while Inter became Serie A champions more than a month ago.

The Serie A giants are in talks to extend with their captain Lautaro Martinez, but there are reports that the striker’s salary demands are too high for the club.

“When you negotiate with players, that (wage) is always an issue,” Marotta told UFABET. This is due to the administrative aspect of the transition from one owner to another.”

“In fact we are confident because the players have a strong desire to stay with us. These are the principles that will prevent possible negotiations.”

Regarding the change of ownership, Marotta said: “Steven (Zhang) is already a big fan of the team and I hope he will continue to follow our adventures.”

“I welcome a new fund formed by people who have given ample guarantees.”

Lautaro has been with Inter Milan since 2018, playing 282 games for the team. Scoring 129 goals and providing 43 assists.
